Purpose of your life

The Purpose of your life.

Have you ever imagined the purpose of your life? Or do you know the value of your life? Every creature, from the tiniest Estruscan shrew to the majestic blue whale has a purpose in this temporary world. When all these creatures have a purpose, don’t we the human beings, the Lord of all animals have a purpose in life? We are here, for a sojourn in this transitory world with a purpose.

You might have heard about the food chain or the food cycle. Every organism in this world is interrelated. Every thread is intertwined and the carpet is organised. What if a single thread is removed? The whole carpet will be distorted. It is the same case with life. If one creature is pulled out, the whole earth would be distorted.

Sometimes you may feel you are useless; you have no value. But pause for a moment. Knowingly or unknowingly you are a source of blessing to atleast one of the creatures of the world. All of us are born in this world just like a plain, white paper. It is our duty to write ourselves. But remember, if you don’t write, you will be written.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson stated, “Every man I meet is my master in some point, and in that I learn of him.”

You are capable of helping someone. Without your knowledge you would have taught a lesson to someone. It might have been a very simple action of yours. Likewise analyse every other fellow being. You have a lot of things to learn from every person you meet. Life is a journey of learning. Keep moving forward.

Sometimes you might have set goals and you may have failed to achieve them. But tarry a little. There is something that Leo Tolstoy had told for you. “ Time and patience are the strongest warriors.” Fight your battles with them. Be patient enough; keep your fingers crossed. Miracles are on your way. We all know the age old proverb, “Time heals everything.” So give life it’s own time. Let things take place in its own place.

Are problems taunting you? Here’s something interesting for you. The great philosopher, Epictetus stated that, “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” Never blow your problems and make it big. One day it might burst and the consequences would be worse. Be mature enough to react appropriately. Being mature doesn’t mean the quantity of experience but the quality of it. Suicide is never the solution to any problem; however worse it may be. You don’t have the right to take away your life. Exactly stated by Chetan Bagat in his essay, My Stupid Suicide Plan, If we had the right to take away our life, God would have given us a power off button. But he didn’t. Be bold and face you problems. Never be a coward.

Always stay positive. Your vibes can make the worst situation a better one and vice versa. Set goals and work towards it. Don’t worry if you are not able to achieve them. Life always offers you the best. Believe in yourself. Be a blessing to many. There are two things that I strongly believe in. So, I wish to suggest them to you. These two phrases give you a better understanding of life.

“This too shall pass.” Nothing is permanent; everything is momentary. Happiness or sorrow,
nothing lasts for long. And so, “this too shall pass.

Everything happens for a reason.” All the situations and their outcomes have a reason. Believe. Everyone is born to achieve. Just believe.

Have a wonderful life and cherish every single moment in this fugacious world.
